Late Arrivals:

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment to ensure the highest quality service. A rescheduling fee equal to 50% of the deposit will be required. Please plan accordingly.

No-Shows/Cancellations/Rescheduling:

Please notify us of any changes to your appointment at least 72 hours in advance. Failure to notify us within this timeframe, or missing your appointment without prior notice, will necessitate a new non-refundable deposit to reschedule. Notification must be done by email, text, or phone call (please leave a voice message if no response). Reminder emails of your upcoming appointment come from an automated system, we do NOT receive replies to these messages.

Payment and Refunds:

All appointments are either prepaid or require a deposit to book. Deposits and prepaid services are non-refundable. Please be sure of your commitment when booking your time with us.

Age and Pet Restrictions:

As a licensed tattoo facility, we cannot allow anyone under the age of 18 or any pets on the premises, as required by law. For skincare and brow bar services, our teen clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent. Parents must consent to all treatments and will remain in the room during the service.

Guest Policy:

Due to space limitations, guests are discouraged. If you bring a guest, they may be asked to wait in the foyer or visit nearby amenities during your treatment.

Appointment Adjustments (By Our Studio)

Although rare, appointments may require adjustments due to unforeseen circumstances such illness, emergencies, or inclement weather conditions. If this is necessary, you will be notified via text and/or email in advance.

Pre-Appointment Guidelines for Permanent Makeup and Skincare Services:

Some services require adherence to specific pre-care instructions, which are available in your Patient Portal. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in your appointment being rescheduled, and a rescheduling fee may apply. Some general guidelines are below, please refer to your Patient Portal for specific guidelines applicable to your desired treatment! To ensure best results:

- Refrain from tweezing, waxing, tinting, or threading your 4-6 weeks prior to your appointment.

- Lamination clients should not have tinted brows within the last 4 weeks.

- Please avoid using retinol, acids, or exfoliating products for at least 72 hours prior to your appointment.

- Please avoid long periods of sun exposure. We cannot perform services on sun burned skin. We cannot perform scar and stretch mark camouflage on tanned skin.

- Lip Blushing and Dark Lip Neutralization require an exfoliation protocol that begins 1 week prior to your appointment time. Lip blushing and Dark Lip Neutralization cannot be performed on dry/chapped lips.

Rescheduling Due to Non-Compliance with Pre-Care Instructions:

Following pre-care instructions is crucial for achieving optimal results. If you arrive at your appointment and it is determined that pre-care instructions were not followed, we may need to reschedule your appointment to ensure the best possible outcome. A rescheduling fee will apply in such cases.

Touch-Up Policy for Permanent Makeup:

Our precise approach to permanent makeup ensures beautiful, natural-looking, and lasting results. Fading between the initial and touch up session is normal and expected. All permanent makeup procedures require a perfecting touch-up session scheduled 6-12 weeks after the initial session with the exception of Dark Lip Neutralizations- the touch up session is scheduled 14-18 weeks after the initial session. The touch up during the prescribed timeframe is essential to ensure long term retention of the permanent makeup while perfecting shape, color, and intensity. The touch up session is priced separately. If a touch up occurs outside of the periods mentioned above, significant fading may occur and require additional time for the permanent makeup to be restored. Additional fees will be required for touch up sessions outside of the prescribed timeframe:

All Brow and Lip Blushing Permanent Makeup Services:

  • 6-12 Weeks: Touch Up Fee Only (No additional fees required)

  • 12-24 Weeks: Touch Up Fee + $250

  • After 24 Weeks: Book as New (Initial) Brow or Lip Blushing Session

All Eyeliner Permanent Makeup Services:

  • 6-12 Weeks: Touch Up Fee Only (No additional fees required)

  • 12-24 Weeks: Touch Up Fee + $150

  • After 24 Weeks: Book as New (Initial) Eyeliner Session

Dark Lip Neutralization Permanent Makeup Service:

  • 14-18 Weeks: Touch Up Fee Only (No additional fees required)

  • 18-24 Weeks: Touch Up Fee + $250

  • After 24 Weeks: Book as New (Initial) Dark Lip Neutralization Session

Treatment Area Etiquette:

To maintain a clean and safe environment, please refrain from bringing open beverage containers or food into the treatment area.

Alcohol and Caffeine Restrictions for Permanent Makeup Services:

- Avoid alcohol 24 hours before and after your appointment.

- It is also recommended to avoid caffeine on the day of your permanent makeup procedure. Caffeine is okay after your appointment.

Health Requirements:

- Pregnant or Breastfeeding Mothers: Unfortunately, permanent makeup procedures cannot be performed during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. However, many of our brow bar and skincare services are safe for pregnant and breastfeeding clients! At time of booking, please indicate that you are either pregnant or breastfeeding in the appointment notes so we can make proper adjustments to our protocols prior to your arrival. For some services, a doctor's clearance letter may be required before your appointment.

- Clients currently on Accutane must wait at least one year before booking any services.

- Unfortunately, permanent makeup services are not recommended for individuals with diabetes or those currently undergoing chemotherapy.

Skincare Service Precautions:

- If you have a history of cold sores, please inform us prior to any facial treatments. We recommend taking an antiviral medication at least 72hrs before your appointment to prevent any flare-ups. This is especially important for Lip Blushing and Dark Lip Neutralization treatments.

- Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning for at least 48 hours before and after your skincare treatments to prevent irritation and ensure optimal results.

Cover Ups and Corrective Work for Previous Permanent Makeup:

If you’ve had previous permanent makeup work, please seek prior approval before booking. You can email pictures of your previous work (pictures must be clear, focused, multiple angles, and in bright lighting) to hello@sunsirenbrow.com for approval. You will receive a response in 24-48hrs. Without prior approval, an additional fee will be required and you may be refused treatment. As a reminder, deposits are non-refundable.

While we have a proven track record of beautiful, natural results and happy clients, please understand that outcomes cannot be guaranteed, as with all artistic or tattoo services. Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided to help ensure the best results from your treatment.
